Who we are
Balamec ("we," "us," or "our") is a sourcing consultancy that helps Amazon FBA sellers and other businesses evaluate whether Mexican manufacturing is viable for their products.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you visit balamec.com or submit information through our Mexico Diagnosis questionnaire.
The data controller responsible for your information is Mauricio Escalona, operating as Balamec, based in Veracruz, Mexico.
Information you give us
When you submit our Mexico Diagnosis questionnaire, we collect:
- Identity and contact: your name and email address.
- Business and product details: product description, specs, certifications, monthly volume, current landed cost, current sourcing country, target timeline, and language preference.
- Optional attachments: product photos or product links you choose to share with us.

Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information in the following cases:
- With Mexican manufacturers in our network: we may share limited details about your product (such as type, materials, and approximate volume) to assess whether a supplier can produce what you need. We do not share your name, email, proprietary specs, branding, or pricing data without your explicit prior consent.
- With service providers: we use trusted third parties to operate our website and process leads, including Netlify (web hosting and form handling), Meta (advertising and analytics via the Meta Pixel), and internal tools such as Notion for lead management. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and only process data on our behalf.
- For legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services, follow up with you, and meet our legal obligations. By default, we retain submissions indefinitely to maintain continuity of service and historical records.
